monotype


this print was in collaboration with artist friend Chris Mullins and based loosely on the birds eye view aerial perspective work

Pretty simple really. Plexi was used for the plate and ink is applied with a roller and drawn into by scraping through with pieces of mat board or rags, or anything really. secondary colors can be rolled on which become prominent and contrast in the scraped areas, and then more drawing etc. until you like your image. Then it goes through the press and voila!! you're an artist!!
